According to the properties and application methods of dyes, dyes can be classified as follows.

According to the state points

Water - based pigment printing ink water - based pigment printing ink

According to utility cent

Ceramic pigments, paint pigments, textile pigments, plastic pigments

According to the source points

Natural dyes plant dyes animal dyes synthetic dyes (also known as artificial dyes) by usage

According to dyestuff property and application method

Direct dyestuff insoluble azo dyestuff reactive dyestuff reductive dyestuff soluble reductive dyestuff vulcanization reductive dyestuff phthalocyanine dyestuff oxidation dyestuff polycondensation dyestuff disperse dyestuff acid dyestuff acid medium and acid containing medium dyestuff basic and cationic dyestuff

Direct dye

This kind of dyestuff gets its name because it does not need to rely on other medicament and can be directly dyed on various fibers such as cotton, hemp, silk and wool.It has simple dyeing method, complete chromatography and low cost. However, its fastness to washing and sun is poor. If proper post-treatment is adopted, the fastness of dyed products can be improved.

Reactive dyes

Also known as reactive dyes. This kind of dyestuff is a new kind of dyestuff developed in the fifties. Its molecular structure contains one or more active groups, under appropriate conditions, it can react with the fiber to form a covalent bond.It can be used for dyeing cotton, hemp, silk, wool, viscidity fiber, polyamide fiber, vinylon fiber and other textiles.

Sulphur dyes

Most of these dyes are insoluble in water and organic solvents, but can be dissolved in a solution of alkali sulfide, after dissolution can be directly stained with the fiber. But also because the dyeing solution alkalinity is too strong, not suitable for dyeing protein fiber. This kind of dyes chromatogram is more homogeneous, the price is low, color fastness is better, but the color light is not bright.

Disperse dye

This kind of dye has a very low solubility in water and very fine particles. It is a non-ionic type dye and is mainly used for dyeing polyester with a high dyeing fastness.

Acid dyes

These dyes are water-soluble, most of which contain water-soluble genes such as sulfonic acid group and carboxyl group. It can be directly connected to the protein fiber in acidic, weak acidic or neutral medium, but the fastness to wet treatment is poor.

coating

Suitable for all fibers, through resin mechanical adhesion fiber, dark fabric will be hard, but the color set is very accurate, most of the light fastness is good, washing fastness is good, especially medium, light color.
